There it is finally!

It's coldddddd! 23 in Texas.I know you Yankees think that is warm but I am freeezing

Cold is something you get used to (sort of) but then lose tolerance for it REAL QUICK!

I lived in northern Vermont and would walk my dog in ridiculously cold temps, dressed appropriately of course. One day it was -20 with a -40 wind chill I still walked the dog though, in ski pants, parka, and ski goggles. Just before heading inside, I took off the goggles for just a few seconds and I could SEE the steam coming off my own eyes like fog in front of my face, and when I came inside I looked in the mirror I had icicles hanging from my eyelashes! Crazy!

In Maryland it rarely gets below the 20s for very long. I went to visit a friend in Vermont and as much as I enjoy cold I couldn't stand how cold it was, only about zero. I thought nope, my cold tolerance is gone. Waaaaay too cold for me now!

At the bus stop today one of the dads said he was texting with a friend in his hometown in Wyoming and it was -36 this morning. #nothankyou

We got 8" of snow in erie today......
Talk about cold. we have -5 windchill..
NO bueno!

That is just too darn cold folks.I'm not ready for my 105 degree summers yet but let's settle in at about 55 for a while.

Up to about 1.5 feet of snow the last 2 days, and supposed to get another 3-6" by tomorrow.
The fuse blew out at our work today, and it shut down the whole plaza.
Was not pretty.

Funny story for y'all.A few years ago I told yall about a young lady I trained to get in shape for her wedding.She was marrying a relative so I got volunteered.Her husband to be told me from the start she was spoiled and I would have to stay on her ass.She didnt want to diet or train.Anyway I tweaked her diet a little.Mostly just getting rid of the 10 cokes she was drinking a day but for training I had her do sprints in a tabata protocal.I went with her 3 times a week and I rode her mercilessly.I would as she was running tell her she would never get her fat ass in that wedding dress and she would get mad and run even harder.She lost 30 lbs and looked great for her wedding.That was about 7 years ago and she gained the weight back.Well I get home from work the other day and she called.She has a class reunion coming up and wants me to get her in shape for it.I told herI just dont have time to come over 3 times a week and just do what we did before.She gets all aggitated and said no she needed me to train her she would even pay me.I told her it wasnt the moneys its time.I told her I would write her out a program and if she followed it she would get in shape.Here is the funny part.She gets pissed off and says "I DONT NEED A PROGRAM I NEED YOU OVER HERE DOG CUSSING ME!"
