No one out there knows how to get more ripped now than the guy you already have ....Alex A. He already knows your body...why not stick with him?

P.S. Just ask your girlfriend to pick out your board shorts.

He has won his class at the USAs before....he has just had a few rough times or he would surely be a Pro by now. Does that mean he is a good coach?? Does he know how to get ripped...YES!

How much is his contest prep price?

He charged me $400 for 22wks. I'm a student and funds are always low, so he cut me a break.

Train only your beach muscles and don't eat. Most definitely DON'T squat!!!!

That will be $1,000.00. Thank you .

Ok, ok, I'm just teasing. I agree with Aaron that Tad Inoue is an excellent coach. A friend of mine uses him and loves him.

You get what you pay for in the prep business. People who are going to cut you breaks and charge cheap prices are ultimately going to spend less time, energy, and attention on you. I've worked with Alex in the past, great guy! He knows what he is doing and gets his guys dry to the bone.... but coaches who do this as their MAIN living as opposed to a side job or hobby are going to be the best bang for your buck in the long run. Spend a little more but know that your coach will do everything in his power to help you succeed as an athlete and wll teach you things that will help you succeed in the future. Dave, Tad the diet coach, Shelby Starnes, Skip Hill are all guys you can't go wrong with and will teach you a ton during your prep, this is what they do for a living so you bet your ass off they will work hard on you as they do on all their clients. Good luck!

so you're saying you would rather go with shelby for example and pay 500$ for 12weeks instead of alex which will cost 400$ for a full year?
does it really matter if it's his main job or not as long as you get you stuff on time? maybe it also depends on if it's a bodybuilder getting ready for a contest or just somebody trying get lean / put on some muscles.

If you read 1st post it says he was charged 400 for 22 weeks to work with Alex which is a very good price for that duration... but think of this...if a coach has 30+ other clients paying full price who would they put more time and attention on.? What I'm saying is look for prep guys who are professional at what they do, have a remarkable track record, and who will teach you and put effort in bringing you on stage at your best, not someone who will answer your emails here and there with a few words and won't tell it like it is. You get what you pay for, the best service by the best people will cost a bit more and most of the time there are good reasons for that.

Very well said. I agree proff is in the pudding. I also think a prep coach needs to have been there done that and successfully at that. I do not mind making someone suffer on a diet because I have suffered and I am aware of what they are going through and they know this. I personally limit how many people I work with at any given time to around 12 clients. With my PT biz on top of my prep biz I do not feel it is fair to my clients to bog myself down to the point I feel I am shorting my clients.I want to be able to make them feel 100% confident they are in good hands.

22wks for $400 is a pretty good deal...and he cut you a deal...so unless he told you he cant or doesnt do mpd preps then you best stick with him...cause i for one wouldnt give you a break at that price...dont punch a gift horse in the mouth...

Yes, Jason is very good at what he does, all his clients come in peeled, very smart and knowledgable guy. Another person who is a very good contest prep specialist who has been concistently bringing his athletes in stupid condition for long time now is Noel Fuller. Any of these guys would be good people to work with.

God damn thats an old video from when I was 14/15...I agree form sucks bad but you learn right?, my form has improved tremendously since then, I have made it a priority that my form is perfect on every excerise. I'm doing those rows with with 2 plates now for 12-15 perfect controlled form, no jerking or swinging whatsoever.

Damn Mens physic is getting pretty popular.

They are A LOT of coaches out there but remember that after Alex prices jump pretty high up there...like from $400/year-$2K/year(some $7k/year but those are the elite guys).

I've heard A LOT of good things about scooby...dude knows his shit and I've heard he responses to his emails uber fast(which is a massive plus).
