looking for feedback regarding goal of female figure or physique competition
Hi Guys,
I am new to the world of figure and physique and am hoping to begin competing in just under a year from now in regional competition. I would love some feed back regarding what kind of progress those of you with experience think I am making and what I should be focusing on for training, as well as whether I should be aiming towards figure or physique.
I would love to hear any feedback, critiques and criticisms, all opinions are appreciated!

Figure would be what you would want to aim for...need more muscle....more round capped look to the delts and some more addition to your back from what i can see...i think your leggs will be good once you get going...maybe find a trainer/diet coach with exp in figure and that would help also...

Also...if your gonna pursue this and want to really take a good run at it....your gonna need breast implants at some point...they do make a diff...fortunatly or unfortunaltly....its part of the gsme and more girls have them then dont....hopefully one of the ladies will chime in on that....good luck to you...

gotta bring that upper body up for figure. more back delts and arms. waist is a bit wide so that will help hide it.

Start with figure and move from there. You're going to have to work on your structure first. Wider shoulders, wider lats...etc. Lats need a lot of attention - could be just the way you are posing or could be lack of muscle....
Good starting point...good luck in your journey!

Hey guys, thanks so much for the feedback. I have tried to take your advice and put it into practice in the gym so I thought I would post a more recent back shot, competition isn't until april so still have a lot of work to do let me know what you think! Kalli Back Nov 15 2012.jpg

Look much better. Relax your arms some in that pose.

I have been working on posing, my coach would agree that I need to relax my arms
hope to master it yet!

Kalli Youngstrom CBBF Nationals 1.jpgprogress.jpgnationals.jpg
Hey guys!
I just wanted to update you on my progress- I came back on this forum to view these pics and use as progress pictures as they were obviously my starting point (how embarrassing to look back at these LOL)
I have now been training & competing for 2 years and just finished my first national show. The purple suit was after 1 year of training, the pink suit in the side by side was a provincial show, and the pink suit in the stand alone pics was 3 weeks later at nationals!
Would love any critique & criticism, working on bringing up my back more, still hammering my delts, and really trying to bring my lats in lower for a bigger V.

Very nice improvements. Try to bring up your back width and details in the upper back. Hammer your butt and hams. Again great job.
