Weight was 174.2 this am upon waking. Was 172.6 post cardio.
This is the lowest I have been since my first show in 05, however, I am much leaner and bigger. Still have much to do though. Just under 4 weeks remaining.
I feel pretty good, just kinda tired at the end of the day. I also will be glad when I am done with yohimbine hcl. I hate that stuff, but I think it is helping. Taking 15mg with 200 mg caffeine before I do am cardio.
Macros are currently 250p/125c/60f....every 4th day carbs are up to 175...nothing too crazy.

What did you step on stage at your last show last year? Is there a welter weight that you may try and squeeze into? Looks like you're already at the cutoff pretty much for middles.

Last year I was 180. NGA
A middle weight cut off is 172 1/4, the next class is lightweight, which is 156 I think, not certain.

Thanks. Quads are a weak point, so I appreciate the compliment.
40g of carbs were added each day and fat was dropped by 20g each day. I'll take the tradeoff....I've never had my food increased as the show neared. I like it though.
So now I am at 165c/250p/40f and every 4th day carbs are 215g.

Looks like you're doing a great job! I expedite 3 NGA shows in the Mid-Atlantic area each year. Here's a link to those shows just in case you're interested. We have a pizza party for the competitors and their family after each show. GOOD LUCK in you up coming show.

Mate, I've followed a few of your journals and contest preps over the last 2-3 years and you just look so improved this year. Is the plan to lose another 3-4 pounds?
Good work on the progress so far and keep it up mate.

Thanks Matt. You are looking solid in your prep. Great job.
Thanks for following. I think that is the plan. Just trying to be as lean as I can....I think I can always be leaner. I have also never eaten more food during a prep than I am now...and it has increased the last 3 weeks. I do now, I need to stay leaner in the offseason, which I always say, but I feel it will allow me to keep more muscle when I diet and allow me to come in leaner.
Thanks again.

I ended up in 3rd. I think I was placed correctly. It was a fun, well ran show. I'll get some better pics up when I get them. Here is a link to pics though. http://jkfamilyphotography.com/p728735834

Just found this thread again, as I prepare for my next series of shows (NANBF, NGA and OCB). Currently a little over 2,11,14 weeks out. Weight is around 174. Still holding fat in gluten and lower half in general. But, this should be my best showing to date. Not crazy progress in the 4yrs since I started this thread, but still progress.
