    Default HIIT cardio in offsesaon

Would this be beneficial at all? Doing the 30 second sprint 30 second walk interval for 15 minutes on off days, 2 times a week?

For over all health (Read cardio vascular up keep), and probably some anabolic activity via the Mtor signalling when doing sprints.
Usually a good idea if you have the will to get it done lol

If your main focus is gaining muscle I really dont see the point. I would keep it in your bag of tricks so when you need it while cutting itll be there and help that much more. However, if you really want to do it you could probably add it on off days without hurting your progress much as long as your diet is in check. I would just use LISS cardio offseason though.

for ectos i would say absolutely not, for mesos maybe, for endos maybe. ive been doing 10 sprint intervals saturday morning so that my lungs and heart stay strong for both health reasons and so i can train more intensely without getting winded. so far its been working great my workouts have been intense and my resting heart rate is in the mid 50s

Yea this would be the reason to do it. Something I neglect to do sadly...

Yes, great for cardiovascular health. A healthier body is better environment to put on muscle.

    Default HIIT cardio in offs

Yet another reason why I do HIIT, or e.g. up the hill sprints or free stroke bursts is the fact that you become far more lactate tolerant then when doing regular cardio. Which in turn is truly benificial when pumping iron.Great read Built Оборудование

I am right on with this statement and rational. I used and do use HIIT to lean down and drop fat. I made the mistake of using it in the off-season or at times when I wanted to gain more size and strength as well although less frequency (2x a week). Even that was too much to get any weight gain going for almost 6 weeks until I dropped it out cold turkey and just kept to brisk 30 minute walking 4x a week with my dog in the mornings. Legs recovered better, and weigh gain started to come faster as did strength gains. I am one of the people who really sides on the school of thought that HIIT is overall better for fat loss and conditioning of the CVS but for guys like me who are more ecto in nature.....HIIT can be a major hindrance on muscle gains. "Use it when you need it, dump it when you dont" is my rule of thumb.
"To become better, you must push beyond your best."
