Cleanse questions (from a performance standpoint)
I have been looking at doing a 7-14day cleanse in mid july. I will be preping for America's Strongest Man under 231 (105kg Nationals) directly after the cleanse to defend my title. I have never done a cleanse before so I am rather worried about a low protein intake since many cleanses have you on just fruit and veggy juice. Does ANYONE have feedback on how the cleanse effects performance? I would also be taking the time off from the gym.

It has been discussed here over and over....a cleanse is STUPID. If you have any real medical training you will know that there is no reason what so ever to do one.
What is it you think a cleanse will do for you?
This is a link for info on a colonic but pretty much the same "Crap".

I feel like most people don't even really know what it means when they want to "cleanse". Cleanse what? Keep your fiber and water intake high and eat fresh fruits and veggies that is the best way to keep your body clean.
