First Natural Pro Show
I am getting ready for my first natty pro show. IFPA Pro USA Sacramento, CA July 14th.
I have had back problems for abot 2.5 years now and I just sucking it up and doing the show. Whole spine hurts right now at 6 weeks out, simply because I twinged my neck trying to rake some dirt a week ago. It has been a rough prep.
Keeping all of my progress, photos, diet info, and some training on youtube.

Thought someone might be intersted. Some of it you might find boring, but maybe it will help somebody out there.
Thanks

is it just me or does the right side of your back seem much better developed than your left side? Still you look diced for 5 weeks out, do you plan on depleting and carbing back up or just go right into the show?

lol you are not the 1st person to comment of the back. To answer the question, yes it looks different. I know the lats insert in different spots. I feel the left inserts higher when I look at photos from past shows, but I think it is a little less dense too. I do have an easier time opening up that left lat compared to the right, which I never had before.
Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.
As far as the carb stuff, I will make the decision later, but I think about it all the time. I still have a ways to go as far as leaning out the legs.
To tell you this, I have had guys that I have helped do about 3 or 4 different things the last week of the show, depending on how I thought their body has been reacting throughout the prep.
Thanks again!

hey great job Matt, you look fabulous...
just a question re: your lat insertion/mind-muscle connection -- if you neck has been bothering you have you considered you may have a slight nerve impingement? this would cause a difference in muscular innervation, etc.
you may be aware this is something i went through (and a few others on this board)...good luck with your prep and watch the spinal health, take care of yourself! (and perhaps get an MRI if you have increased pain or symptoms after you're done your show)
STAY STRONG!

Thanks Zoa. I think I remember you talking about that on a video I watched. I have been getting adjustments on the back and neck for quite some time. So I don't know if that is the problem, but I really appreciate your advice and nice words.
Thanks
