I got my hairs cut on Thursday. A much needed way overdue trim! I go to the Douglas J Aveda Institute where a supervised student will provide whatever service you select. The upswing is for $16 you get a nice scalp massage, shampoo & conditioner, cut & style! And they use awesome Aveda products! Coz’ this fit chick is also a budget conscious chick too!

My crazy back! I am still a little stunned at how much detail & size I have created in the past year. I honestly believe I made more changes in 2013-2014 than I did the prior year. I will easily be 10#s heavier when I hit the stage in 2+ weeks.

Some Fit Chick Fashion Fun! I confess I have a training shoe problem! And as you can see for leg day/squatting I love flat styles like Converse or Van’s. Plus I am fitting into some of my “shrinky dink” clothes again too! Half the fun to me is getting stylish for sweating…lol

Wow, I have totally neglected my journal for a few months! I never even posted the results of my show & here I am in my 3 month of off-season Sorry sorry sorry!

Okay...well...ummm. *chuckle*
I placed 2nd (out of 2 ) in the 2014 Natural MI/Nicole Wilkins. It was a great journey to the stage and for 15 weeks, I was very happy with how I looked & felt. I made some great improvements from 2013!

Ultimately, I was not lean enough. But I learned some valuable things, which will help me with my training & prep for an even better outcome next go around. The biggest thing, being natty & of a certain age, that I truly need a 20 week diet to get to where I need/want to be.

The biggest reason I have been awol is there is a new women's forum that took the place of Sioux Country. I like it there but there are a few peeps I really miss here on RX, Sunny! Lori!
I am in week 9 of my 2015 prep and it has not all been sunshine & lollipops...but more on that another time. I promise I'll pop on by journals soon and post a real journal entry later this week.
