Are ectomorphs better suited for bikini or figure
Hey there,
I'm tall and rather lean and new to strength training. I wonder if someone of this build is better suited for bikini competing? Or does it matter?
Thanks!

I think the first thing is going to be degree of muscle , and second is shape. Bikini has more curves, whereas long lean muscles are a big seller in Figure. They are sort of intended to be an evolution based on muscle development over time, but nothing says you "have" to be one or the other. Part is what you like doing, part is what your body structure lends itself to.

sassy69 says it best, of course. Still, have to chime in..
Structure above all else, imo, but it comes down to how comfortable you are presenting yourself regardless of category.
Anyone can walk on stage. Just look at Steve Anixt. :-/
