I had a bunch of friends that were training at a Gold's Gym in White Plains, NY that was eventually taken over by Planet Fitness. When they went to train there they were told in not such a nice way that they weren't welcomed anymore. What's amazing to me is that there hasn't been a class action lawsuit against them!

i am very glad they are all over the place. i love walking into a gym and being able to squat and dl without waiting 20mins for the kids doing chins or the women doing 12 sets of sit ups in the only open corner. i like being able to work with the dbs without 60 people around be curling.

i think some of the commercials are funny. some seem stupid, but im not offended by any of it.

And to be quite honest, for the people that get intimidated (that spelling looks wrong...)by people that train hard, good that they have place they can go workout and at least give a half-assed attempt at getting in some fitness. I'm sure most aren't doing anything really productive and will probably stop going but keep paying dues, but at least it gets them up. I live in WI, we have PLENTY of people that could use more physical activity and if they find a place they're comfortable with AND it keeps them out of MY gym....two birds with one stone.

that commercial is not that funny, but this one is hilarious supposedly Jerome Ferguson came up with the idea for this commercial.
