Take a look at PQQ, NADH and Ubiquinol for a boost in energy and much more. Lots of science behind it for energy production in the mitochondria.
I enjoyed your videos but #2 in the car was very hard to listen to with the traffic noise.
Good luck in your adrenal recovery.

I only did 4 meals when it was more realistic for my schedule but I prefer 5. This past offseason I did 5 the whole time. My carbs went up to 600g at one point and I was eating all the starches intra, post and 2nd meal post. Massive amounts in those meals. My body comp always tend to maintain better doing it this way. Right now I am just spreading them out more to release a bit more GABA, serotonin etc.
I like ginger tea from time to time but thats about it. Smooth Move or Super Dieters tea if digestion needs cleared out but those are basically just laxatives and I RARELY use them. Havent in a long time.A Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Those are very solid supplement additions. I approve!
Thanks for watching man. Ya the sound was not ideal there but Im so damn busy that in the car is about the only time I can do them. I make all my phone calls in the car as well. Its really hard for me to even get in here to post. Owning a really busy coaching business and starting another business at the same time is no joke lolA Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Thanks Austin. What is the highest you would take intra carbs? I'm trying to work those in, its just hard to tolerate them digestive wise. They don't bother me during or right after in the workout, but later in the day I am definitely more bloated when I use them. Right now im experimenting with HBCDs and just gatorade powder.

One addition to the above, sorry! How do/would you like to structure pre workout meals that are carb free? Would you use certain fat sources like coconut oil, and leaner/faster digesting proteins?? DO you like to limit the meal to a certain size since its pre?

You pretty much nailed it. Since it is still a protein fat meal, I have to take into consideration slower digestion. I typically have a slightly smaller amount of veggies than the other PF meals then proteins will be something I digest well. Fats in that case are almost always coconut oil. I have had some folks use pure MCT oil too if needed but coconut seems to work fine for most. I should also note that I will usually eat about 2 hours or so pre training so plenty of time in between.
The highest I have ever gone personally was 125g. For me it has to be Karbolyn or HBCDs at that point of my stomach will be upset. The big downside to those carbs are obviously the cost when using that much. I think I was at 125g when carbs were at 600g. I would start sipping it about 5 mins pre workout then all the way through about 3/4 of my training. Never bothered me that way.A Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Last set of pics from this leaning phase taken last night before bed. My midsection is usually the last to come on and its there as well as glutes being boxed out and showing some etching on the outside.
This is plenty lean enough to start adding calories back in slowly. Im post poning competing till spring time in order to recover from my adrenal issue so ill be taking this building phase very slow to stay within striking distance and healthy.

I have an appt on the 1st (Thursday) so we will see what improvements I have made.
I finished my cut at 6 sessions of steady state cardio of 300 cals each and about 2000 cals on training days so relatively low for being 200lbs and this lean. Non training days were a bit lower than that. I was doing HIIT at one point as well but pulled that out when the health issues came about.
This was a long slow process though so I was able to take my time and do less damage along the way. Even though I didnt get to do the show, I was still cutting for probably 16 weeks.A Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Hey all, dropping in with an update!
Things have been extra busy around here with the gym opening up. We had our open house yesterday and will be opening the doors this Thursday the 15th. Tons of little things to smooth out before that happens as well as keeping up with my currently client load and of course my own training/nutrition.
After several calorie increases, I finally got weight moving up some. Im up about 2-3 lbs from my low weight and training is slowly feeling better. Just trying to be patient because I can tell my nervous system is still pretty crappy. It cannot handle a whole lot right now.
Hoping that the next doctors appt will show some improvements though. I still have a few months before then!A Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Another solid week in the books here. Up another lb this week and slowly but sure feeling as though my adrenals are bouncing back. Still not 100% but noticing some improvements slowly but surely.
Just trying to manage stress while staying extremely busy. Running two businesses and now doing some additional person training is a lot to handle but Im making it happen.
Hope everyone is well!A Passionate and Dynamic Approach to Physique Enhancement

Great pics bud - your quads have some really nice size and sweep - amazing development over a few years. You'll do really well when you compete next year...Sorry to hear about the adrenal issues - seems like you are handling that well.
BTW - favorite part of the pics are the hands and phone - reminds me of "Thing" from the Adamms Family! LOL
