Exactly! When they made up the new Olympia qualification rules, I thought every pro show this year was going to be great. Instead, it's the opposite. Only a few good shows and the rest are filled with 2nd and 3rd tier pros. Doesn't make any sense.

Great point. Hopefully they remove this point thing, just not very practical as out sport requires athletes to plan many months ahead to do the Olympia.. and if they can get knocked out last minute just isn't very smart at all. Probably the same tools that thought of the challenge round back in the day.

While I do agree that only the best of the best should go to the Olympia.. this is not the way.

How about the top 2 of each show make it to the Olympia.. and if the 1 or 2 spot is already qualified then 3rd spot gets the ticket.

This is similar to the top 3 but will cut a third of the Olympia qualifications out and have it a competitive field.

I don't know about the other placings but Ed Nunn will not make the top 5 in this show, that just goes to show how competitive it will be.

What's really fucking sad is that Toney Freeman should be able to walk through this show. But he won't. He can't. His physique brought in 100% would make everyone else look stupid. But he won't come in 100%. So who gives a shit who wins? The one who should win WON'T!

In response to Swingslammer,What makes you feel so adamant that Nunn won't place in the top 5? He has favorable comparisons to Freeman and has been improving every show. He's got sick wheels and if he brought his chest and back up he should be a contender
