Total disregard for human life?

If it were not for economies of scale and competition of corporations, you wouldn't be able to go to a McDonald's or Burger King and get a double cheeseburger for $1 or $2. Sure, it's not the healthiest food in the world, and if you can afford it you should eat elsewhere most of the time. But the lower class often lives off of fast food since it provides cheap protein and it is tasty enough that their kids will actually eat it.

Not to mention, it's completely an individual decision to eat fast food. Nobody is forcing you to eat there. The ONLY reason these companies are so successful is due to consumer demand. Companies do well when they provide a service and product that people want and at a competitive price. It's not like corporations just brainwashed and coerced people on their way to financial success.
