WTF!?!?! Does this offend you????
Browsing across the web and noticed a new site claiming to suggest the "best" protein powder out there on the market and a product called 'Myotein' was on the list as #1.
Interested on reading more about this non-mainstream protein by XPI, I browsed there site. Typical infomercial style ordering set up with brightly colored labels for the usual assortment of products, but one tab labeled 'LIFESTYLE' stood out to me. There under this tab, were two articles:Bodybuilding After 40 and The Truth About Female Bodybuilders. Being barely 30 years of age, I skipped that article and clicked on the later.
After the first paragraph... heck, the headliner of the article even; I was on the defense. Continuing to read on through this sloppy opinionated literary discrimination I hoped for the writer's sake it was reaching a "final statement" or their point for the open ended article. But, no. At least I didn't see one. Just scrutiny and ignorant and blind research since the referenced athletes haven't even within the last 5 years! Not to mention the sport they are secretly envious of has gone through its own changes for the better as well.
"Because of this image set in our minds, the rising popularity of female bodybuilding is shocking, and to some of us, it even seems flat out disturbing. There is no precedent for the well-defined and considerably larger figures of these female bodybuilders, and some have even begun to describe it as a "new archetype", carving out a new place for women in today's society."
Ahhh! I don't know! Maybe I'm just prematurely jumping on the soapbox for FBB'ers here, but seriously...does this offend you?

Written by somebody who wants to attract the majority culture.... so average "popular" and maybe even "populistic" article.
I am so sorry I have not translated my antropological studies about female strenght in the western culture and about the strenght dichotomy in the culture overally yet ..... I made both on analytic antropology subject and on gender antropology, both based on various literature and than on some research. The topic is not easy and it can not be said that straight on any side....
I promise I will try to translate both and when ready I will put both to my blog.
