Awesome quad session, very similar to what I will be doing tomorrow. I keep mixing it up. I agree about the wraps, for me anything above 225 gets wrapped, I've started using them doing BB lunges, just gives me confidence.
Your new Avi looks like pro quality bro, this is going to be an interesting prep

Thanks Mike. That's kinda how most of my sessions have been structured. Sometimes I'll do them as a giant sets or supersets I'm limited with my equipment I have at home plus my ailments.
I've decided to allow myself to grow a little I've been a middleweight even as far back as my first show in 1991 (except 2010 welter) and I'd been working on improving the quality of muscle that I'd had built over the years and these past 2 years have also put appreciable muscle so it's now or never if I going to move up to lightheavies.

Thanks Chris! Glad to hear you're doing the Masters next year! 39 is young! Looking forward to meeting up with you in Pitt.
Um, yea. I'm 225 BB presses just wanted to see if anyone was actually reading my workouts. lol.
We all love to hear that we're freaks. thanks Hoss. Sometimes I have confidence thru the roof about my abilities and other times I doubt myself and think can I still hang in there with the best? I guess we're all our own worst critics. I'm no badass though but you can keep telling me that.Last edited by KevinCouch; 08-15-2012 at 03:44 PM.

Took yesterday off. Did a morning Back workout. Felt good. Feeling some pretty good tightness (almost spasms) in my lower lumbar area. Need to be careful. Got thru workout and now will take some alleve and go to work.
Wide Grip Pulldowns: 3x12-15
Close Grip v bar Pulldowns: 3x12-15
DB Bentover rows: 3x10
Curl Bar Slightly bentover rows towards hip: 3x12-15
Hoist Machiine Machine Rows: 3x10
One Arm Low Cable Rows: 3x12-15
Wide Grip Pullups: 3x as many as I can do no weight needed when doing these last
My emphasis is hitting my back from as many angles possible with good form and feeling the lats contract and stretch with every rep.

Pic taken today bodyweight 202. Still holding good condition not super lean. My focus has been to thicken up my traps and rhomboid area to appear thicker. Project lightheavyweight is in progress.

Quads today.
Leg Extensions: 4x15-20
Uni Lateral Leg Press: 4x15-20
BB Front Squats: 4x15-20 225lbs
BB Rear Squats: 4x15-20 only 315
One Leg Leg extensions: 3x25-30 reps
This doesn't look like anything special but it got down to deep into my quds and I know my glutes will be sore tomorrow.

Doin ok. I've been too lazy to post all my workouts. Going well though. Still around 200 pounds and very lean. No eathshattering pics to post. I hope to keep making steady gains with quality muscle. Switching things around a bit to shock the muscles and promote soreness in areas that haven't been sore in a while. Thanks for checking in Hoss!
