Body is holding lean pretty well at 200 pounds. I was 206 about 10 days ago. Now I right at 200 mark with abs, intercostals and obliques. Not shredded but they are clearly there. That's encouraging, I'm headed up to 210-215..........

Looks shredded to me. Obliques are clearly visible too. You're headed in the right direction.

Training has been going well. I've scaled back the weights slightly and I am concentrated on my form and feeling the muscle work ever step of the way throughout the rep. Concentric and decentric motion. I've been getting sore so I know it's working.
Tuesday I did Quads:
Leg Extensions: 4x15-20 (slow and brutal)
One Leg Presses: 4x15-20 (controlled reps never locking out)
Barbell Squats: 4x12-15 (slow and controlled)
Reverse DB Lunges: 3x25 (wrapped knees)
One Leg Extensions: 3x25-30 (3 drop sets) on fire.
Yesterday did Chest/Triceps
Slight angle DB Flyes: 4x12-15
High Incline Flyes: 4x12-15
Regular Angle Incline Presses: 4x10-12
Marchine Decline Presses: 3x10-12
Machine Flyes: 3x12-15 (2 drop sets)
High Cable (leaning over slightly) extensions: 3x12ish with stack
Standing Cable Pushdowns: 3x12-15 100lbs
Weighted Dips: 3x15-20 45lbs (didn't need more because these were done last)
Overall, I have been working to increase my lean muscle and I have however my body has dropped in weight down to right at 200. There are factors involved and I will keep pushing forward and my goal is to hit 210-215 in shape with abs to determine if I'll be where I need to be to a top lightheavyweight competitor at Masters Nationals next year.

Good to see you moving up in weight class. I havent posted or read RX in a long time as I have retired and moved from CA to Moyie Springs Idaho. I logged on and seen you gained 20 lbs of muscle, Ax is back, so is G man and Paula (from bb .com) and Baldie has moved to Nevada? Keven, I see you have been working the $hit out of those traps. The only thing I would worry about is all those viens....stay away from sharp objects.

Great to hear from you been a long time! Big change from CA to Idaho. Yes I've been working my traps pretty hard this past year. One advantage of aging is the skin gets thinner . I really never was that vascular until these past few years. If I stop training then they'll turn to varicose veins lol.

Kevin, Lance Johnson won the lightheavy Masters Nats class at 5'3" height. He also went pro at that show in the 50s category. You can go pro there too. Good luck!

Kevin...you are right about the thinner skin. Some call it muscle maturity....nope. Downside is that you hardly have to scrape something and you either bruise or bleed. Oh, and those varicose and spider veins do become part of the process. FUGLY.
BTW you continue to amaze.

Thanks Guys! I haven't posted in a while. Been crazy here. I'm still training hard. Not quite as heavy been concentrating on strict form and complete stretch and contraction with every rep. Weight is still arond 205. I'm lean at this weight. I don't want to push it too much with my weight I don't want to become blocky. Trying out different exercises to change things up a little. Here's an arm pic taken today. My bicep is showing some more peak though it still hasn't caught up to my triceps yet....
