Thanks. There was actually quite a bit of food they bring out to you while your order is being prepped.
You truly pay for the wonderful experience here. You're literally on a hilltop, customer service was 10/10, food was fresh and tasted great, (I had duck bread) and it was just a fantastic experience all around. We would go back again for any special occasion!

That looks great. Wish you lived closer brother. We would kill doves in the fall and winter and have a big feast after the hunt.

That duck would not have lasted more than a few minutes in the same zip code with me.

I used to work in a white tablecloth restaurant in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The chef was all about low country (GD is salivating right now) and her specialty was all things game bird. My favorite dish she made was twin quail stuffed with cornbread and Tasso ham, on top of the yummiest bourbon sauce that made you want to lose your manners and lick the plate clean. I was like every time I brought that plate out to a table.
Hate it when I get timed out by that editor. Grrr.
I'm sure you can get your hands on some Tasso ham. Try it with the quail. It is off the chain!2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month

I would so be in! As long as it doesn't taste too gamie! (Sp?)
Bob: $153
Appetizer
Two drinks each
Dinner
With tip: $196 total.
Valet tip: $5
Having the wife cry in tears when we were leaving because she appreciated what I treated her too, and her gift: priceless. It was worth every penny spent.
I have a separate account I keep for my "truck" funds. Anything I make from selling my old stock truck parts, and any other side cash goes directly into that account that I prefer to use when I want to add something to the truck ...I think she was more touched I pulled the funds from that account for dinner and her gift rather than just using a CC or our checking account. Why did I choose this route? I suppose it would mean more knowing I didn't put myself first, and instead used my side money for the night / gift.Last edited by Hoss06; 04-19-2015 at 07:11 PM.
