Tina Chandler IFBB Pro hits Okinawa, Japan for 2 weeks!
Hi RX! Wanted to share what a great couple weeks I've had here in Okinawa with Tina Chandler. We invited her out here to guest pose at the Torii (Army) Muscle Beach Classic & also at the Japanese Okinawa Bodybuilding competition. The military as well as the Japanese locals LOVED her!
For me the best part was we had 2 weeks of hanging out, training, and just overall having an incredible time. How great is it to be good friends with someone who shares the the same passion for lifting and motivating others and is just plain GOOD PEOPLE.
We tried to video a lot of our training so will put out another little vid as soon as we get it edited. For now here's a little clip of us goofing off and a few pics. Just thought I'd share as I think it's very rare that you see two off-season FBB's enjoying a good time together. For me, this is the FIRST time I've had the opportunity to train with another woman who matches or exceeds my experience in the sport and is like me willing to share all the learning we have both collected. Both of us have no ego and love to learn so it was great training, an awesome vacation & overall amazing experience! I'm going to miss her!
We are planning my visit to Texas to continue as well as work together to help more people learn nutrition and training, I'll keep everyone posted . Thank u everyone here for all your support over the past couple years!

Sounds great, two great representatives of women's bodybuilding. These are the types of athletes FBB needs to get more popular IMO.

I would turn the camera sideways to use the whole frame.
"I know what your thinking. Did I fire 5 shots or did I fire 6 shots. You gotta ask yourself, Do you feel lucky? Well do ya, Punk?"

thx everyone! I sure hope our trip amused & inspired!
bryan, yah, my hubby found the whole thing v. amusing. by the end of the trip, he was referred to as J-hub by Tina and she was Wife #2 LOL...lots of "we need food NOW", "we need a bathroom NOW", "ohmygod i'm so hungry i'm going to eat my arm" type of comments...which both of us knew like it was our first language, no explaining needed! haha
hit-girl, the vid were just cut from a couple clips where Tina (or myself) were ripping weights off at the same time trying to film with the other hand. LOL (we were doing strip sets) .... try taking off 90# while holding an Iphone still LOL
there are more pics on my FB, like Bryan said....Last edited by powergirl; 08-17-2012 at 01:25 AM.

Hi Everyone!!
I just had to stop in and say thank you for all the support you have shown us over the past two weeks I was visiting Zoa in Okinawa!! It was such an amazing opportunity and an honor to have been a part representing women's bodybuilding so far on the other side of the world! Aside from that, Zoa and her husband, Joseph, were such great hosts and travel guides. We all got along so well! (as hinted above with each others' nicknames LOL)
It was such a treat to train with another pro bodybuilder with such a like-minded view of the world in concept and spirit! I think early on we knew how special this interaction would be, and, immediately, thought we should share so others could see and learn too. As Zoa mentioned, neither of us have so much of an ego so as to hold anything back from sharing and, therefore, learning from each other. I don't think many of you can admit to have been witness to such pureness in energy and intent between two people in this sport or in life~!
We discovered we have a lot to do in the world and are gong to try to continue collaborating, so we can be even more effective in changing people's lives for the better! As my visit ende, we agreed saying good-bye was too hard, and that "til next time" made more since anyway. I'm grateful for our connection and my new friends I have made!! Thank you, Zoa and Joseph, for such a great time and opportunity!
Til next time..The great thing about it all is you, the public, will see as we do, so it's a WIN WIN!! You all are included in 'til next time!
Thanks RX for providing a place for us!
xoxo,
Tina

Great note Tina it was all our pleasure and yes "next time" ....excited!
Carolyn, there was a professional videographer doing the show but they have yet to give the tape to Joseph for editing. (As well as his job as sports director for the Army, Joseph is also the resident tech/graphics/web guy) LOL.
We hope to get it up soon, I'll keep ya posted...
