Implants, thinking of a re-do
Hi girls
I'm in the process of getting new implants.
After I made the switch from Bikini to Figure, I've built more mass and appear leaner. My over muscle saline implants are starting to show more and more of rippling.
I've read a lot about this, and it seems to me like I should consider a switch to silicone, and the best type is said to be cohesive silicone gels. They are said to be more form-stable than other silicones.!? Often referred to as "gummy bears".
I think I would like to stay with overs, as the are less of a factor regarding upper body exercising.
I'm also looking for an increase in size as well.
Does anyone have some experience to share? Especially I would like to hear from someone with cohesive gels?

From my research cohesive silicone gel is just silicone with a textured surface to help keep the body from creating too much scar tissue around the implant. The gummy bears are just that... they feel exactly like gummy bears. Which when I looked at them, I didn't like but other women do. I thought they felt too hard and didn't have the "bounce" that the other implants have when move. I had my doctor put in try the cohesive implants and the smooth implants in me when I was under for my surgery... then asked him to put in the one's that looked the most natural for my body. So I wound up with the smooth round silicone implants put half under/half over the muscle. I am very happy with them. If you have a great doctor they are willing to bring in different sizes into the surgery room and different types of implants to find which ones look best on you.

I had a redo about 6 years ago. I now have silicone gel (what they used before the now "gummi bear" ones) under the muscle. the down side of under the muscle is that they tend to flatten and widen under my arms when I flex my pecs at all. but otherwise, I would highlyrecommend any silicone, gel, or gummi over saline from the research that I did.
