Need help: EASIEST, FASTEST way to get certified as a personal trainer?
Hey guys. I've been personal training for about 7 years without a certification. I have the opportunity to take over a local gym's personal training needs.
I'm going to be taking the ACE test when I can scrounge up the extra money. The manager knows me, knows I know my stuff, and basically said "I don't care what you have, just get a piece of paper. All you need is the cert and some kind of insurance."
So, regardless of how BS the cert is, can anybody lead me in the right direction to get a quick cert?
Any help would be great!

There are plenty of not so reputable sites online where you just pay for a test and get the certificate asap, just look it up. It will serve the purpose you are going for.

Ya just google. I was in the same position as you once, got an online to CYA and then got the good one a month later.
You got the paper, you got insurance, you should be good to go.

Sweet. The whole certification thing is a joke. I've been living here in Indianapolis, and I laugh at the personal trainers I see. Like Romano was saying on the radio show... lots of fucked up swiss ball/kettle bell movements. Most of these people don't even know the difference between EFA's and gristle off steak fat.

For what that piece of paper will ultimately be worth, yes even the ACE, just dowload a fake and have a printer put your name on it. Seriously, Im not trying to be a douche. None of the best trainers I know are certified. And the ones I know that are, well........ their "certs" are somewhere gathering dust or aging.

I was certified through ACE for a long time... honestly they didn' do shit for me! Training is one of those things you either have a knack for or you don't. I have ins and I pay a bit more since I am not "certified" but it is cheaper than spending the cash to keep updating my cert. And yes, I too see other "certified trainers" doing some real dumb shit MOST of the time. Bummer.
Just doin' my thing.

Actually you should PM Vince Goodrum. No reputable company would certify him so I'm sure he had to resort to one of the B.S. ones on the internet.

Super easy test anyone could pass. You take it online with the damned manual in front of you. THe manual is only like 20 pages. Questions taken right from it. They'll send you a pretty piece of paper and they claim to be accredited somewhere somehow. You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.
