That's the best thing I've heard today. We do need more female judges. But that won't help your cause.

As for the "express themselves as they wish"....that's what makes our sport self-indulging nonsense. That androgenous, drugged out, totally huge and ripped from chemical enhancement ain't working for us, potna. Not collectively.

Bust their asses??? You mean break the bank! The message was not intended to be an insult. More like a huge hint to get their heads out of the sand. The judges told us what they want to see. And some women keep firing back - this is what you're gonna get. And what do we get for taking that position? Pimp slapped!

The writing is on the wall. The message is clear. But some women (and the men who support them) are too dayum stubborn to read it or heed to it simply because they don't want people telling them how to look.

A few bad apples spoil the whole bunch. If you go back to 1980, the goal of women's bodybuilding WAS NOT to be the biggest, hardest, most ripped as you possibly can. It was a display of beauty, feminine physique with natural curves and some muscle.

Hello hope all is well in your part of the world Now getting back to the video as I see it and please understand it is my opinion being stated when I say....upon first coming to view video I never saw it as insulting but rather an informative tool, The judges are simply stating their point of view of what it will take to save the women bb, we need to start coming out in numbers to compete at the local level and at the pro level all of us whether your small or large....at the national shows these last couple years the judges have been somewhat consistent but we need it across the board and we as females must decide how your gonna come in. This video was posted in 05 and were in 09 so if changes are to take hold consistency must be in both ends.Theres got to be a Happy meduim somewhere....maybe its just me and wishful thinking.

That was some insulting shit to the women who bust there ass to express themselves as they wish. the "20% rule"... 20% less than what?

And the beat goes on, Lil Mama. That's why we are stagnant. No comraderie iwithin our ranks. The fitness and figure girls got the same message and they retreated because most of them did not like the hardness. They were beginning to look too much like bodybuilders. When bodybuilders began to look like men, it didn't seem to bother some women. The lack of respect, low wages, drop in sponsorship, TV coverage, magazine coverage, minimized to an afterthought didn't bother them either. Well it did, but not enough to change. Some just quit.

Here we are on a mission to get them back. Get new blood flowing. But there isn't much to dangle in their faces to make it worthwhile IMHO.

The minority rules. The majority of pro an am women as well as the gen pop are not willing to distort their bodies to the level we see now. The biggest problem is we all have totally different images of what woman's bodybuilding should be.

People claim women's bbing will never be "phased out." What indehell do you call what is happening now? There's no point in getting rid of it when you can collect $200, or $400 a year for dues.

Carolyn, did you get the results of the women on AAS study back that you were looking for- the one Enda K. had completed? You said you and a friend were working on a smiliar project and were trying to gather as much scientific/practical information as possible.
