5 minute athlete warm up jumping, squatting, lunges (lateral and front), cutting drills, directional drills
The rest of the session I did nothing but cutting and linear drills focusing on lowering my center of gravity each time. As if my legs weren’t irritated enough by the last two days! WOWEEEE!!!! It was a GREAT session!
Wednesday
Back, Abs, Spinning
Cable station lat pull 60lbs each hand 3 x 10
Bent Over Row 65 lbs 3 x 10
Hyperextensions 3 x 12
Minor muscle targeting using lat pull station 25 lbs 3 x 12
Spinning 45 minutes
5 minute warm-up
HIIT drill 2x 5 minutes of speed intervals, long climb seated transitioning to standing and maximum standing climb, taking the “bob” out and ducking low 5x Rest 1 minute, repeat!!!
“Walk overs” on medicine ball 3 x 20
Heel touch 15 lb med ball 3 x 15
Oblique twist with 15 lb med ball 3 x 15
Met with Celeste last night to try on my new suit. I just LOVE it!!! She hasn’t put the rhinestones on it yet, but the color is beautiful, and the cut does much better for me than my old suit. I’ll probably be able to get the finished suit next week and I’m looking forward to seeing what she does. Her work is always beautiful and I’ve been envious of my training partners suits for years. Now I’ll have my own!
Urban Active for Cardio 2 tonight! Then my schedule gets all whacked out because of orchestra rehearsals in Sandusky. I'll have to hit the treadmill at work and incline walk the next two days.
