T3
Good morning ladies (and men!),
I know there are threads where T3 is discussed...but why not a whole thread just regarding T3?
How many of you have taken it? Doses? Did you pyramid your cycle or just take straight doses? Liquid or pills? And did it leave you messed up afterward?
I have experience pyramiding up/down with liquid T3...but don't really want to ever use liquid form again. I don't feel that the measurements are as accurate and such, and if I ever used it again, I would stick with tabs. I had my thyroid tested about a month afterward and it had sent me slightly hypo but not enough to where I had to be medicated. After a few more months it went back to functioning normally...but I'd rather not run it again if it's going to slow down that much

i would stay away from liquid simply b/c its too hard to dose correctly. i have used it and cant really say if i saw any benefit. i have cycled up on t3, starting at 12.5 and going up to 4 a day. never cycled down. i havent used it for long periods, only about 6 wks or so. so no problems. i think with clen it can be a great fat loss stack!

Who advised you not to taper off the T3?
Whoever it was, fire him. That kind of advice will almost inevitably tamper with your thyroid function and can lead to very serious problems in the long run. Its actually more important to taper OFF than it is to work your way up to the desired dose. In fact, its optimal to spend almost just as much time weening off T3 as the time you spent on it. The slower you come off the more likely your thyroid is to bounce back on its own with no problems. Running a DHEA supplement after you are off will also assist in thyroid recovery.
That is how critical and important a slow and gradual off-taper is. You could have started your T3 regimen right at 25mcg for a few days and then jumped right up to 50mcg where you would have stayed for x amount of weeks before gradually dropping it. A decent protocol would basically be a 12.5mcg drop every 5th day until you are off completely.
Its the clen dosing that you have to work up to. You can't jump right into a high dose of clen without gradually working your way up there. That can have serious adverse effects as well. However, with clen, tapering off is not necessary.
You have your protocols reversed betwen T3 and clen and that really worries me. How many times have you run T3 in the past as you described? And how much time between T3 cycles?

Right... no need for a ramp up on T3 but you must ramp down to avoid problems. I also advise use of OTC aids once you drop T3 ... like guggulsterones and acetyl-l-tyrosine. BUT I must say I advise against T3 use. If your diet is on point you won't need it @ all except if you're using GH or Tren for long periods. If you do use it stay @ 25mcg.
