Go to crossfit.com its free...not good for building muscle...very high intense 20-30 min workouts...it will test the best of athlets...i dont know about the high reps on olympic movements think something like that puts a lot of stress on the joints...its fun its hard and it burns fat like no other...but again isnt really good for building muscle...thats IMO though

I would have to disagree with you. Crossfit is actually one of the best muscle building workouts a person can do.

Agreed. It's a lot more functional strength training than bodybuilding is, but there are plenty of large guys that do crossfit.

I don't like the crossfits WODs. I think they put too much focus on the metabolic side of things and not enough on strength. The best crossfitters are those who follow regular strength workouts for a while and have a good base of strength, then transition over to crossfit. If your goal is to be a bodybuilder, CrossFit isn't what will get you there. If you want to be a powerlifter, crossfit will not increase your 1RM in the Bench, Squat, or Deadlift significantly. However, if your after all-around fitness, crossfit is a great program. I believe that crossfit is simply the best thing going as far as building conditioning. It's a great all-around program for someone who wants to get in shape and stay in shape.

Show me a bodybuilder or someone who has found success in building size and strength strictly doing crossfit and has achieved such muscle hypertrophy from one of the so-called "best muscle building workouts a person can do"

I'm not saying it's what bodybuilders want to do, but just from looking at the pictures on the site some of those guys are pretty big. One of my friends is trying to get his Crossfit certification, and he has a pretty impressive physique. It definitely is not going to make someone into a good bodybuilder, but it will build muscle.

I go to the same gym. There aren't any big guys doing it. Mostly lighter guys and women. I think its a good conditioning workout, but not good for size, and not so great for strength.

All my clients that just want to "tone" do something similar to this except I throw in some MMA and boxing conditioning drills. They love it. I also do something very similar on what could be considered my cardio days.
