I respect is attitude as a athlete but it seems you wouldn't appear to be mad at the world at the post Olympia interview. I forget which athlete said it but "everybody wants you to be great but nobody wants you to say it"...He should have came across a little better during the interview and saved the attitude for the stage. I see how this may change people perception of him but agreed he will be even harder to knock of next year.

It is not hate for me, I use to be a bigger fan of Phil prior to this O. Now I am a bigger fan of Kai and Rhoden

To me he looked like he was pissed bc the judges calledl him an Kai back out to get compared again. He thought he was going to destroy everyone, just like me and everyone else did. It was too close for comfort. I stlll am a fan of his physique. I just favor Kai and Rhoden.

I don't hate on him at all but I see how some people can. He definitely is "the gift". He has the kind of round muscle bellies and perfect structure that less than 1% of us have. Genetics, genetics, genetics, they can be a blessing or a curse. Also, he doesn't come across as a very humble guy.

I think this has happened to some degree to everyone who has won multiple olympia's, it's just that with the internet and the ability to say what you want and not be held accountable people are a bit more brasen (sp) with thier opinions. I know after Ronnie won like his 5th olympia I actually wanted him to lose (and I was a huge coleman fan up till that point). Same with Haney, I wanted Labrada to beat him in a big way...I still think dorian lost in 94 and 96. People bitch about Jay beating Victor in 07...it happens to everyone.
it IS good for the sport and it gets people excited to see things so that is a good thing. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Kai win the Sheru show, just to make next years O more exciting.
I haven't said a whole lot about the olympia simply cause I honestly didn't pay a ton of attention to it this year. Looking at the pics I've seen (and only the pics I've seen, this is a very broad statement), I think Phil won but I can see why people were in Kai's corner.
it seems like it was a very good show.

I'm not a Phil fan, I much prefer Kai, but Phil was the right winner. I certainly think Phil is now the villain, I guess everybody is when they win consecutive Mr O's.
