If Mike Mentzer had been Mr. Olympia, he would be my favorite one. Since he didn't make it, my fave is Samir Bannout. I'm not saying he was the best one, or most memorable one, or influential one, etc., just that his look is what I like best of the ones who won the title.

Your favorite - Bannout was the only Mr O to have a moustache, your ultimate favorite - Mike Mentzer also had a moustache... I agree with you, any Mr O with a moustache would have looked way more dominant and butch!

I'm just don't see where people criticize Lee for his poor leg development. For the era he competed in they were fine. Are they Kai or Branch level? well no but at that time that type of leg development was the exception not the rule.

Are u kidding me. Lee had good legs, he flowed prefectly. He was alot bigger than Labrada. Ray and Levrone came on the scene later.

Buchanan had better arms. But Haney had the overall sheer mass.

Dorian had caught up to Haney. Dorian would have beaten Haney in 1992 in my humble opinion.

Children who talk to themselves while learning something new learn faster.

    I
f you wish to learn something new which you often forget, talk to yourself while pursuing the thing, this will help you regain the task you forget, says the findings from Gary Lupyan, of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Daniel Swingley, of the University of Pennsylvania.
Some people have the habit of talking to themselves while working or researching, this behavior helps completing the work at a faster pace, even children who talk to themselves while trying to attempt something new learns faster. For example, when children attempt to learn something new like tying the shoe laces or tying a tie on their shirt, they should talk the procedure involved while tying the shoe or tie, this will help them learn.
The method of the study was identifying different objects, like adult participants were shown 20 pictures of different objects and their job was to identify the objects (a jar of peanut butter, stick of butter etc) just shown. The participants who talked to themselves while locating the objects found the objects easily as compared to who don’t.
In another experiment, the participants in the study were shown a virtual shopping mall, and were asked to identify the objects. Again when the persons talked to themselves the names of the objects and at which counter the item was located, people were able to found the objects quickly. The study authors concluded by revealing that though the present results showcase that self directed speech affects some aspect of visual search process but there is no proof which substantiate that self-directed speech influenced the competence
