Studies on efficacy of macadamia nut oil on fat loss?
Are there any studies out there on macadamia nut oil and fat loss? Or particularly interesting would be mac oil compared to olive oil. I know olive oil has shown increasing in uncoupling proteins and increased insulin sensitivity, but what about mac oil?

you don't need a study on mac nut oil specifically. what you need to know is that it has what the fatty acid content is. it's mostly monounsaturated fats. it also has a equal amount of omega-3 and omega6; one is pro-inflammatory one is anti-inflammatory.
lots of monounsaturated fat is also good for ldl and hdl levels.

even if you use the word efficacy it's still silly. Mac oil is fat. It's good fat for making hormones and it tastes good but it's stiil just fat. mmmmm, fat.
I use it for all my cooking.
