Chris Aceto reveals "9 Biggest Mass Gain Errors"
9 Biggest Mass Gain Errors
By Chris Aceto, Rx Muscle, July 2013
From a nutrition perspective, getting big should boil down to "eating big." That’s the adage bodybuilders have lived by for years. In reality, for many average-joe bodybuilders, "big eating" which implies packing away tons of food, can be an equally effective fat gaining plan.

These are great tips to really achieving mass gain and muscle strength. I think it's important to remember that gains do not happen over night but instead over a long period of time and they happen gradually over that time. The best gains come from months of hard work and effort.

This was a very comprehensive list! Awesome stuff, I think beginners AND veterans can benefit from it as a reminder.
When I started out, I was eating WAY too much protein per meal and the portions were huge. The frequent smaller meals makes a big difference.

I never know what to think of this stuff or how much is just pandering. I knew a pro last year. I mean literally knew him as we are friends. Who was taking 20 iu's of gh a day, 150mgs tren a day, and 20 iu's insulin, and 250mcg t3 and he turned pro eating mcdonalds almost his whole prep.
We almost ahve to preface these articles with "this article is for naturals" or "this article is for light users" or "this article is for guys taking so much gh and tren they can eat cake every meal and get shredded".
I'm an aceto fan and all that so this isn't really directed negatively toward his article or thoughts just some general statement.

Chris, where was this thirty years ago when I needed it? lol
Also, what do you recommend for a pre training meal for someone who trains about an 90 mins after waking up?

If I was trying to Pander I would quote Probiotica or my training services throughout. Probiotica is the best and I am the best ! There I am now pandering On a serious note I guess with ( I am a good guesser) nutrition, and and training for that matter, comes down to a large degree to learning what works best for you. To do that you have to take an article such as I outlined and tweak it as you go. Of course the hard part is " how do u know what to tweak" if you are so new to bodybuilding that you lack the experience to even START to address that question. Overall, I am trying to always write for someone who is NOT juiced to the gills. That article to a large degree stressed NOT over doing it , not being excessive.....

Great article Chris.
Do you advocate intermittent fasting? How do you see it affecting the ability to lose fat and keep muscle?
