Dosing - how to read your pin
I see a lot of people referring to their doses in terms of cc's - i.e. what it says on the injection syringe. But that doesn't tell you anything if you don't know the concentration of your compound. It will normally say it on the bottle.
E.g. 100 mg/ml, 10 ml bottle of whatever
If you want to use a dose of 100 mg / week, here's your conversion:
On the injection pin: 1 ml = 1 cc
So in this case, its easy. 100 mg / ml x 1 ml( size of pin) = 100 mg is what you get if you fill up 1 cc of your pin.
For illustration, a standard insulin needle is 1cc. Other needles can be up to 3cc.
Another example: 200 mg/ml, 20 ml bottle of whatever
If you want 100 mg/week:
200 mg/ml x 1ml = 200 mg in 1 cc on your pin. So to get 100 mg dose, 100mg/200 mg/cc = 0.5 ccyou want 0.5 cc on your pin.
Another example: 125 mg /ml , 20 ml bottle of whatever.
If you want 50 mg/dose:
125 mg/ml x 1 ml = 125 mg in 1 cc on your pin. To get 50 mg dose, 50 mg/125mg/cc = 0.4 cc or 40 on your 1cc pin.
For GH - hGH is measured in IUs. When you reconstitute it, for ex generic Blue Tops are 10 iu / bottle. Reconstituting w/ 1cc of bacteriostatic water (or 1 insulin pin filled to the 100 mark) will give you a bottle of 10 iu in it. If your daily dose is 2 iu, you'd want to draw up to the 20 mark on your insulin pin.
