After a mini bulk the past two months I gained up as high as 207 but my BP was a little high and I just didn't feel comfortable at that weight so I've been slowly bringing it back down. I'm around 197 right now and lean and feel great at this weight. I'm just going to continue to train hard and smart and avoid injuries and see where my body takes me. I plan on continuing to make improvements not necessarily in raw size but now more like sculpting out more what I've got.

Here's twp pics. The first one was taken in May of 2010 after a few months of hard training back under my belt. This was the time I decided to go for it and do the Masters Nats. Muscle memory played a huge role with my progress that I made in 8 weeks to get on stage. The 2nd pic was taken yesterday. You can make solid gains in your mid 40s but I would caveat that..it is easier to get back the muscle you've lost than it is to build new muscle once you're my age (46). I don't too many signs that my body is slowing down too much. Just need to train smart.
Train on Gents!

The difference is incredible in the May 2010 picture and what I saw on stage 2 months later at the Master's in Pittsburgh.
I am 56, and I AM now starting to notice the slow down. You've got another decade to go.

Yea I was able to transform my physique pretty quickly. I remember when George Farah said he'd work with me in May and I sent him my first set of pics he told me that he thinks it's great that I decided to step on stage again I should be proud no matter where i placed. After prepping with him for 4 weeks he told me You're gonna win this damn thing!
I should probably rephraze that my body isn't showing signs of slowing down. I'm pretty beaten up with my knees, lower back and elbows but I'm still managing to make gains by working around these injuries and proper rest.

Haven't been very consistent on posting up workouts and progress. Training has gone fairly well. Bodyweight is around 200 pounds. Have lost a little hardness and vascularity. Have been really mixing my workouts up to make sure my muscles are confused and I've been hitting them from every angle with lots of exercises. Here's my chest and tricep workout I did today.
DB Incline Press: 2x8-10 130s
DB Flat Press: 2x10-12 130s
Machine Decline Press: 2x12-15 250lbs
Machine Incline Press: 2x10-12 220lbs
DB Flat Flyes: 2x10-12 75s
DB Incline Flyes: 2x10-12 70s
Machine Flyes: 3 drop sets to failure
Tricep Pushdowns (cable) 3x10-15 100lbs
Weighted Dips: 3x15-20 70lbs of weight strapped on
Rope Behind the head tricep extensions: 3x12-15 100lbs

OK...I took some time off of "supplements" but I never stopped training. I have just begun the new year getting back on the program. I haven't lost much muscle maybe a few pounds but I have put on a little fat. I'm around 200 pounds and just under 10% bf. I've had a lot of external factors that's kept me from pushing forward towards being a lightheavyweight so right now I am training and planning on being a middleweight at Masters Nats this summer. I should easily be able to squeeze into middles once I drop water before carbing back up.
Now I'm back in session!
Maybe I should ask Hammer to change the title of this thread again .
